Hi! I'm Nicole.. A twenty-something newlywed in Cleveland OH. I work full-time in finance for a large corporation, spend hours taking photographs and attempting to train the untrainable dog. I just moved back to my hometown roots of Cleveland (yes I read the Forbes article and yes I still moved).
I'm an Ohio State Buckeye for life, but a proud Clevelander at heart (go Brownies!!). I adore photography, traveling, reading, cooking, shopping, laughing, red wine, movie dates, being crafty, long conversations, sunshine and chocolate milkshakes.
I cannot function without coffee. I know, everyone says this. I'm not lying. I become this alter-ego that no one wants to be around. Caffeine is a godsend in my eyes. I drink wine regularly, but am far from a connoisseur. My price range rests heavily in the $5.99-12.99/bottle range. Classy, eh. I love to read (nerd). I live vicariously through the characters painted across the pages. I sometimes think that I was born in the wrong time period.
In 2010 I married Adam, who is without a doubt my second half. He cute, smart and quirky. An engineer with an impeccable ability to read people. He spends his days at work and his nights and weekends playing volleyball, xBox, boating and watching soccer. He's quite frankly, the most logical person I have ever met. And lucky for me, he's mine :)
I'm a true puppymom. We call him Ricki the Rockstar and he's my 12lb cuddly furball. He drives me crazy with his barking, his constant need to lick his left paw and his insistence that he sleep smack dab in the middle of the bed.
I love his hairy face anyway.
So, we're all one big happy family, living under one roof and taking life a day at a time. It's full of ups-and-downs, but it's always humorous. We're incredible blessed in every aspect of our lives and I cannot wait to see what our future holds :)
